• The tear film: functions and importance.
• Effects of chemical interference on the tear film.
3. Risks Deriving from the Use of Glues and Solvents
• Chemical composition of glues for eyelash extensions: cyanoacrylates and others
compounds.
• Solvents for removal: potential toxicity and methods of exposure.
• Irritations and allergic reactions: symptoms to recognize.
• Possible damage to the cornea and conjunctiva.
4. Prevention and Safety
• Measures to protect the client during the application of eyelash extensions.
• Importance of ventilation and use of protective tools (masks, goggles).
• Hygiene of hands, tools and work surfaces.
5. Eye Emergencies During Application
• Accidental contact of the glue with the ocular surface.
• Sudden allergic reactions.
• Irritations or abrasions of the cornea.
6. First Aid for the Customer
• How to intervene in case of accidental exposure to glues or solvents.
• Use of saline solution for eye washing.
• When to stop treatment and recommend an eye examination.
7. Emergency Protocol
• Guidelines for immediate management.
• Communication with the customer to ensure transparency and security.
