According to the Ministry of Health's website, chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, respiratory, intestinal and neurological diseases, diabetes, musculoskeletal pain, and obesity remain the leading causes of death worldwide.
Smoking, poor and excessive diet, sedentary lifestyle, obesity, drugs and alcohol, along with environmental pollution, represent the main risk factors that can be modified through suitable lifestyles and conscious prevention.
Modern medicine is enhancing the value of medical and surgical treatments for various serious pathologies. On the other hand, the effort is also directed towards health promotion and disease prevention, with a strong emphasis on the concept of PREVENTION starting with EPIGENETICS, which deals with everything that can be done to prevent the development of diseases and errors in the gene expression of DNA, by influencing the environment, lifestyle, and predictive and early diagnostic tests.
Most of the so-called aesthetic imperfections are in fact early-stage aesthetic diseases, such as wrinkles, pigmentation, oedemas, lipoedema, cellulite, excess weight, and fibromyalgia, which require early diagnoses and initially nutritional and non-invasive interventions.
Regenerative medicine, physiotherapy, and epigenetics are the highest expressions of prevention and health maintenance, while EPIESTHETICS represents the right synergy that allows us to prevent the damage caused by aging and to age well.
This health conference, promoted by FIERA ROMA and the ITALIAN ACADEMY OF PHLEBOLOGY AND AESTHETIC PATHOLOGIES, is part of the mission of Roma International Estetica, an annual event that aims to be at the forefront in maintaining health and beauty, addressing current topics in aesthetic pathologies, particularly in the area of prevention.
The course will consist of lectures supported by practical videos of interest.
